Use this simple microwave oven cooker to take the fuss out of poaching eggs. Place 2 tablespoons of water in both of the 3-inch cups (or in one cup if poaching one egg) and heat for about a minute. Crack an egg over each cup, and pierce the yolk lightly with a toothpick. Snap the lid closed. Microwave on 50% power for another minute or so.
